Il Borgo del Balsamico: l’arte dell’aceto tra tradizione e innovazione

In the heart of the Emilian countryside, immersed in a historic villa surrounded by rare plants and ancient fruits, The Borgo del Balsamico è il luogo dove la tradizione prende vita. Qui, Cristina and Silvia Crotti portano avanti con passione l’eredità del padre, producendo Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia PDO, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and a selection of unique condiments, such as the Pink and Apple.

Following artisanal processing methods, each vinegar is left to age slowly in small barrels, respecting time and tradition. To help consumers choose the right product for each use, their two lines, The Borgo del Balsamico e The Wine Cellaradopt an intuitive labelling system with three colours:

  • Yellowideal for salads and light preparations
  • Orangeperfect for cooking and marinating
  • Red: to be enjoyed with cheese, desserts and refined dishes
